Details
Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a skin rejuvenation technique utilizing a sterile device equipped with fine needles. Slender needles gently penetrate beneath the skin’s surface, creating micro-wounds and micro-injuries. These microscopic wounds trigger the body’s innate defense mechanisms, prompting the production of new skin cells, capillaries, and collagen for the purpose of repairing the damage. The natural restorative process results in a more youthful appearance due to the increased collagen synthesis.

Microneedling Process & Downtime
Pre-Treatment
Before your microneedling appointment, you will complete a Microneedling Intake & Consent Form to review your skin history, medical conditions, and treatment suitability. This helps ensure your procedure is safe, appropriate, and fully customized to your skin’s needs.
Step One | Cleanse & Prep
Your skin is thoroughly cleansed and a numbing cream is applied for comfort. While numbing, you'll relax under the red light and receive a complimentary scalp massage.

Step Two | Microneedling
After all numbing cream is removed, your skin is prepped with alcohol and the Microneedling treatment begins.

Downtime | What To Expect After Your Appointment
It’s normal for the skin to feel sunburnt, tight, dry, or swollen for 1–3 days post-treatment. These effects are temporary and part of the healing process.

Q&A
What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a professional skin treatment that uses tiny controlled micro-injuries to stimulate collagen and elastin production, improving overall skin texture and tone.
What Does Microneedling Help With?
Microneedling helps improve fine lines, acne scars, enlarged pores, uneven texture, and overall skin firmness and glow.
Is Microneedling Painful?
Microneedling is generally a very comfortable treatment. A topical lidocaine numbing cream is applied beforehand, so most clients feel little to no discomfort.
Is There Downtime After Microneedling?
There is minimal downtime. Skin may appear red and feel slightly sensitive for 24–72 hours, similar to a mild sunburn. Avoid sun exposure, sweating, active skincare products, and exfoliation for several days after treatment to support proper healing.
How Many Microneedling Sessions Will I Need?
Results vary by individual, but a series of 4–6 treatments is often recommended for more advanced skin concerns for optimal results.
How Often Can I Get Microneedling?
Microneedling should be scheduled no sooner than every 30 days to allow the skin time to properly heal and regenerate.
When Will I See Results?
Some improvement can be seen within a few weeks, with continued improvement over time as collagen production increases.
